Our “why” is to help you make that happen.
Over the course of our careers, we’ve seen many friends and family struggle to find the help they need to cultivate their financial futures. We’ve used our knowledge and skill set to develop a reputation based on education, integrity, and meeting financial objectives. That’s our commitment to you.
Executive Support Manager
After over 25 years of working in the Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance industry, Alex decided to make a change and moved to RCS Wealth as the Executive Support Manager. She had seen the impact of unsuccessful financial planning on families in her community and wanted to be an ally in the face of such struggles. Under Bob’s lead, RCS Wealth had grown and was in a position to offer its services to more clients—it was the perfect opportunity to have the positive influence on her community that she had always wanted.
Alex takes a great deal of pride in the fact that clients come to RCS Wealth because they trust the business with their retirement and ensure each client feels at home with RCS Wealth. When clients come into the office for a visit, she is the first face that they see. Her job is to guide clients to the correct resources within the firm, manage scheduling, and coordinate all RCS Wealth events—when in doubt, she’s always a good place to start for information.
Alex is a Denver, CO, native who lived in Bangladesh for a short time as a child. Now she makes her home in Centennial, CO, with her husband, Bob. Together they have three children, three-step children, and two grandchildren. When she’s not helping RCS Wealth reach more clients, Alex dreams of going on safari in Africa. An avid traveler, she and her husband spend most of their downtime outdoors in the mountains hiking, camping, and skiing, or at the beach, relaxing among the waves or fishing in coves. That is, when the Broncos aren’t playing.
Business Support Manager
Emi Smith is the newest addition to RCS Wealth as the Business Support Manager. Her mission is to honor her family's ongoing commitment to act in the best interests of their clients and to guide them through the retirement process with excitement and hope instead of frustration and apprehension. With her help, clients can feel enthusiastic about this new phase of their lives with a partner who will be with them every step of the way. Her day-to-day activities encompass business processing, account maintenance, marketing efforts, and quality control. Through technology, creative marketing, and enhancement of the client experience, Emi strives to bolster the reputation and reach of the family business.
Her motivation to succeed has been a central facet of her character throughout her life and now as a member of her father’s business. A Denver, CO native, Emi graduated from Penn State University as an All-American D1 lacrosse player. She was recognized as the Big Ten’s Goaltender of the Year and First Team All-Conference in 2015 and then as one of the Women's Lacrosse Final Four in 2016. Now she brings this same dedication and drive to clients’ retirement plans.
Now she resides in Cranston, RI, with her three dogs—Koda, Mud, and Willow—she has with her partner, Sydney. When not helping the business to build relationships with people in the community, she can be found with Sydney and the dogs in a mountain lodge with a wood-burning fireplace or passing on her lacrosse skills to the next generation as a coach.
